During my Xmas holiday I stayed at a city hotel in Taipei. The free breakfast that came with the room had a great assortment of options. The staff were helpful when it came to directions and suggestions for things to do in the area. The location was close to public transportation, making it easy to explore the city.
The shower didn't have a curtain, which left the whole bathroom wet after use. the hotel was located in a quieter area with not much around, so it was a bit of a walk to find places to eat or things to do.
